PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
An initial building assessment report resulted in several phases of renovations to modernize this existing seven storey social-service facility and emergency shelter in Winnipeg’s core. Our mandate was to renovate the building in a way that would stand up to heavy use, while presenting an aesthetic that was more homey than institutional. Our work involved new building finishes from top to bottom; new commercial kitchen and dining hall; new secure main entrance, upgraded lobby finishes, envelope upgrades, and hvac upgrades.
